Despite committing only minor traffic offenses, the driver lost his life after the officer carried out a PIT maneuver.
The family of the 21-year-old victim claims that this should never have happened. They pointed out that the officer involved had just begun his career as a law enforcement officer, and he probably didn’t have the necessary training or experience to pull off a PIT maneuver safely.
